U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency MED WEEK at Washington D.C.

SuncasTV has been selected by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency to receive the NATIONAL MEDIA AWARD. This award was created to pay tribute to minority entrepreneurs who have demonstrated industry leadership, business success, economic impact, and community involvement.

The CEO and President of SuncasTV, Mr. Leon, was invited to the White House on August 26, 2009. Mr. Leon had a brief talk with Vice President Joseph Biden and Commerce Secretary Gary Locke on the White House reception.

SuncasTV was honored with this prestigious award at the 2009 Awards Gala on August 28, 2009 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.

In addition to receiving the National Media Award, SuncasTV was also selected as the 2009 Regional Minority Media Firm of the Year, and was chosen from hundreds of very qualified nominees.
